Social & Recreational Experiences

What may have once been considered merely “having fun” is now recognized as essential for healthy aging. Maintaining positive relationships and staying connected while contributing to the community as one ages greatly enhances both health and quality of life.

We offer weekly activities that bring older adults together to socialize with friends. Our events include a weekly lunch in Holdingford and St. Stephen, a monthly “Lunch and Learn” program, and outings to concerts and local events.

All of our services work in harmony to create a healthy community where older adults can thrive and play an active role in society.

Community Meal

Our weekly dining event in Holdingford takes place every Tuesday at the Holdingford City Center. Social starts at 11:30, meal at 12:00.

Our weekly dining event in St Stephen occurs every Wednesday at Trobec’s or The Rusty Nail, with the card game 500 to follow. Meal at 12:00, 500 starts at 12:30.

Our Monthly Lunch and Learn is on the fourth Thursday of the month at the Holdingford American Legion. Social starts at 11:30, meal at 12:00, speaker at 12:45, BINGO or music follows.

There are no monthly Lunch and Learns in November and July.
